• Gain access to latest research result: Member companies get access to research findings before they are widely disseminated Being an IAP member allows optimal interaction and/or consultant service with faculty members identifying opportunities for research partnerships.
    • Chart latest research activities conducted by our large body of faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate students and highly trained engineering staff in our research labs. Define and mentor joint projects.
    • Attend the annual “EE Research Day” – a graduate and undergraduate student poster session (highly meaningful also in the recruitment context).
    • Conduct brainstorming sessions with our research labs staff to seek out-of-the-box solutions to acute engineering problems – “impulse mini-consulting”.
    • Facilitate participation of industry in faculty seminars, conferences, summer schools, cutting-edge workshops in emerging areas at the EE forefront.

  • Provide convening arena for jointly exploring technology trends: The Advisory Committee of the IAP and other ad-hoc IAP forums provide ideal venues for bringing to the table highly qualified leaders from the industry and the academia, to address common needs and advance priorities in a vendor-neutral setting, explore and shape key technological trends, chart long-term technology education strategies, define and execute specific research themes, convey to the EE faculty industry longer term needs in technological and managerial fields to be strengthened.

  • Promote joint participation in funded research projects and consortia: Bring together faculty members and industry researchers to join in government and internationally supported research programs.
